TRIO FROM ALABAMA ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

On May 3, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Iuka due to an ongoing investigation of illegal narcotics being transported from Alabama to Iuka.  Once the vehicle was stopped, the back-seat passenger attempted to get out of the vehicle but was confronted by the officers.  When officers asked the back-seat passenger did he have anything illegal on his person, the passenger turned over a large amount of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE which he had in his front pocket.  The front seat passenger handed some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE to officers willingly.  The driver, who was operating a vehicle on suspended license, informed officers that she did not have anything illegal on her person, but as officers were transporting the driver to jail, she informed them that some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was hidden in her clothes.  Both front seat passenger and back seat passenger was also transported to jail.

1.       JUDITH WADE BENSON, 38-year-old, white female of 708 North Hook Street Tuscumbia, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and FELONY TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE. BENSON’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court in the amount of $10,000.

2.       ROBERT WARREN, 43-year-old, white male of 870 Virginia Street Cherokee, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) as well as POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. WARREN’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court in the amount of $5,000.

3.       ROBERT DALE REAGAN, 47-year-old, white male of 2040 Baker Lane Tuscumbia, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) w/INTENT TO SELL. REAGAN’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $7,500.
