DESOTO COUNTY COUPLE CHARGED WITH DRUG SALES

 

May 9, 2019

 

On May 7, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a stop on a vehicle that has been involved in an ongoing investigation of narcotics being brought into Tishomingo County.  During the traffic stop, deputies arrested two occupants in the vehicle, where one of the occupants was in possession of some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE at the time of the stop.  The deputies then transported both occupants to the Tishomingo County Jail.

  1.       JASON CLAY HYDE, 44-year-old, white male of 1711 Coral Hills Drive Southaven, Mississippi was officially charged with SALE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). HYDE’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $10,000.

 

  1.       SAMANTHA BAKER WILLIAMS, 35-year-old, white female of 8705 HWY 61 Lot #202 Walls, Mississippi was also charged with SALE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). WILLIAMS’ bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $5,000.

 

This is an ongoing investigation of illegal narcotics being brought into Tishomingo County from outside areas.  More arrests are pending.
