IUKA MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING SUV

On May 19, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies took a report of a stolen Chevrolet Tahoe from a business around the area of CR 995. The alleged Suspect(s) unhooked a trailer that was attached to the Tahoe. The following day, an off-duty Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) Probation Officer, saw the alleged Suspect in the stolen vehicle in Alcorn County. The probation officer ran the vehicle tag on the Tahoe, where it was confirmed it was stolen out of Tishomingo County and began following the alleged Suspect. The off-duty probation officer lost sight of the alleged Suspect, informed both Alcorn and Tishomingo County authorities to this information, and also gave positive identification of the alleged Suspect. The alleged Suspect was later apprehended at the Magnolia Hospital in Corinth by both Mississippi Department of Corrections and Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies. The alleged Suspect was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
BRANDON STACY, 26-year-old, white, male of 804 CR 172 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY TAKING MOTOR VEHICLE. STACY’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $2,500. STACY may face further charges as this investigation continues.
