IUKA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR METH

IUKA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR METH

June 4, 2019

On June 4, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to dim their lights.  While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the deputy could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  The driver consented to a search of the vehicle and the deputy found a small amount of alleged marijuana in the driver’s side door.  At this time, the deputy placed the driver under arrest and during the arrest, the driver turned over a large amount of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE to the deputy.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

RAYGAN BALENTINE, 20-year-old, white, female, of 16A Cr 483, Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  BALENTINE’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $10,000.
