IUKA WOMAN CHARGED WITH THEFT

On June 3, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies responded to a residence on CR 989 to speak to a homeowner about a theft of their side by side that had been stolen from the property earlier in the evening. Deputies took the report and description of the stolen side by side and after leaving the residence, located the side by side behind another residence just within a few miles of the owners. The side by side was recovered and a juvenile was detained after learning of their involvement in the stealing of the side by side with the help of the homeowner where the side by side was recovered from. The homeowner where the side by side was recovered, was later arrested in Burnsville and brought to jail.
PATRICA KAY EDGE, 51-year-old, white, female, of 80 CR 320 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY TAKING OF MOTOR VEHICLE and DIRECTING A YOUTH TO COMMIT A FELONY. EDGE’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court in the amount of $10,000. EDGE is also currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections for drug charge.
