TISHOMINGO WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

On June 9, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies received a call from residents at the apartment complex located on Jefferson Street located in the Town of Tishomingo.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the caller and was advised that they have been having trouble with lots of traffic coming to the neighbor’s apartments and the odor of marijuana coming from the apartment as well.  Deputies went to the apartment in question and spoke to the resident at the apartment.  While there, the deputies could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the apartment and were given permission to search the apartment by the resident.  During the search, deputies retrieved from the apartment, a bag of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE and other drug paraphernalia.  The resident of the apartment was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

ALEXANDRA CHRISTIAN, 47-year-old, white female, of Apartment #8 Jefferson Street Tishomingo, Mississippi, was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  CHRISTIAN remains in the custody of the Tishomingo County Jail, awaiting bond to be set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
