TISHOMINGO MAN ARRESTED FOR METH

On July 4, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 961 for Careless Driving. During the traffic stop, deputies became suspicious of the occupant’s actions and the driver appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic. Deputies had both the driver and the occupant to exit the vehicle and the deputies learned that the driver was under the influence of alleged MARIJUANA. A search on the driver yielded some alleged MARIJUANA being found on his person and the occupant was found to be holding some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE in his pocket. Both the driver and the occupant were then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
RONALD DALE GANN, 47-year-old, white male of 22 Railroad Avenue, Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). GANN’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $3,000. GANN is also currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) and MDOC has been notified of GANN’s recent arrest.
