GOLDEN MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS AND WEAPONS

On July 9, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a search at a residence located at 170 Red Bay Road in Golden.  Deputies and Investigators were able to retrieve some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE as well as weapons from inside the residence.    The homeowner was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

ROBERT ALLEN SMITH, 50-year-old, white male, of 170 Red Bay Road Golden, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and POSSESSION OF A WEAPON BY CONVICTED FELON.  SMITH’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $3,000 for the drug offense and $5,000 for the weapons offense.  SMITH has previously been convicted in Tishomingo County for POSSESSION OF 2 or more PRECURSORS w/INTENT TO MANUFACTURE METHAMPHETAMINE.
