RECENT ARREST LEADS TO FEDERAL CHARGES

The below information is an official Press Release from the Bureau of Justice – Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Special Agent Joseph Frank:

On 08/05/19, Cody Patrick Gray, W/M, age 37, was arrested by ATF Agents for federal firearms violations.  The case is a joint investigation by the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department, ATF and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi.  Gray had his initial appearance in federal court in Oxford on 08/05/19.  The case is being prosecuted by AUSA Kim Hampton. 

Gray was originally arrested by the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office on March 27, 2019 for POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON.  Due to the nature of the firearms and the subsequent investigation, the case was transferred to the A.T.F. Sheriff Daugherty states “Great partnerships like these are needed and we are extremely thankful for Special Agent Frank and his team for their assistance”.
