TISHOMINGO MAN FOUND TO HAVE LARGE AMOUNT OF METH

On August 14, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an individual in reference to narcotics being delivered to the Belmont, Burnsville, and Iuka area. The Suspect had been under surveillance by Narcotic Investigators for some time due to the illegal activity. The arrest was conducted by the deputies through a traffic stop on the individual. During the traffic stop, deputies discovered a large amount of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE hidden in the vehicle. The Suspect was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JONATHAN DURHAM, 39-year-old, white male, of 165 CR 155 Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION W/INTENT TO SELL CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). DURHAM’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $20,000. Sheriff John Daugherty would like to thank the Belmont Police Department, Iuka Police Department and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics with assisting his agency with this arrest.
