IUKA MAN CHARGED WITH RAPE

On August 29, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s investigators charged ALLEN JAMES BIRCH, JR. with STATUTORY RAPE.  Investigators learned that at the time of the crime, the victim was a 14-year-old minor and BIRCH was 19-years-old.  This has been an ongoing investigation between both the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Human Services - Child Protection Services, and other agencies.  BIRCH turned himself in to authorities at the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office.

ALLEN JAMES BIRCH, JR., 22-year-old, white male of 144 CR 191 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with STATUTORY RAPE.  BIRCH’s bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $500,000.  This case will be presented to the next available Grand Jury.
