VEHICLE ATTEMPTING TO RUN FROM TRAFFIC STOP FOUND TO HAVE DRUGS

On October 12, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff's deputies attempted to stop a black Jeep with no tag that was traveling on CR 209 in the Burnsville area. The vehicle fled and pulled into a residence on CR 209. Deputies pulled up on the vehicle and detained two subjects inside the Jeep. The driver was placed under arrest and the passenger was detained at this time as well. During a search of the vehicle, deputies found some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE hidden in different areas of the Jeep. At this time, both the driver and the passenger were transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
TONY ANGLES, 50-year-old, white male, of 12 CR 218 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). ANGLES' bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $3,500.
TIMOTHY RAST, 53-year-old, white male, of 12 CR 218 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). RAST's bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $3,500 as well.
This case is being investigated by the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
