ALABAMA WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

On October 30, 2019, the Belmont Police Department, Golden Police Department and the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in Golden/Belmont area. This residence has been a subject of an ongoing investigation of illegal drug activity of individual's allegedly selling METHAMPHETAMINE from the residence. Once at the residence, Tishomingo County deputies and officers arrested JERRI MCGEE. During the search of the residence, law enforcement found a large amount of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. Also, items were found in the packaging, weighing, and distributing of the alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. All evidence was gathered from the residence and the Suspect was transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
JERRI ELIZABETH MCGEE, 28-year-old, white female, of 712 Chestnut Drive Russellville, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (HYDROCODONE) and TRAFFICKING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). MCGEE is awaiting bond to be set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court on her charges.
MCGEE was also charged by the Belmont Police Department for FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETMINE). MCGEE's bond was set in that charge at $3,500.
More charges maybe forthcoming and the investigation is still ongoing by the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Narcotic Division and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
