TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO TWO ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

On October 30, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff's deputies and narcotic investigators stopped a vehicle on HWY 72 after investigating complaints of two areas where allegedly drugs were being sold at. During the traffic stop, deputies learned that the male driver had suspended license and was immediately placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle was then conducted as well as the passenger. Deputies found several bags of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE on the female passenger. The passenger was immediately placed under arrest as well. A further search also yielded some alleged HYDROCODONE prescription pills being found as well from the passenger. Both were then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail. Once at the jail, it was found that the male driver had attempted to conceal narcotics and bring those narcotics into the jail. Additional charges were added to the male driver.
CLYDE RICHARDSON, 49-year-old, white male of Lot 25 Millcreek Marina Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with INTRODUCTION OF NARCOTICS INTO A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY. RICHARDSON's bond has not been set yet by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
PAMELA THORNBURG, 54-year-old, white female of 826 HWY 365 North Burnsville, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (HYDROCODONE). THORNBURG's bond has not been set yet by the Tishomingo County Justice Court.
The Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) and the Burnsville Police Department.
