ROUTINE CALL LEADS TO FELONY ARREST

On December 8, 2019, Tishomingo County Sheriff's deputies were at a local business and were checking a female for outstanding ARREST WARRANTS. The deputies noticed the boyfriend of the female acting as if he was under the influence of some type of substance. Deputies checked the female's boyfriend and found a "pipe" that is commonly used to smoke METHAMPHETAMINE with in the boyfriend's pocket. The boyfriend was immediately arrested and a further search yielded a bag of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE being found in the vehicle that was being driven by the boyfriend. The male was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
ALGIRDAS KAZLAUSKAS, 28-year-old, white male of 21A CR 330 Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). KAZLAUSKAS' bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court at $2,800. KAZLUSKAS is currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) for a FELONY drug conviction.
