BRIAN BERRYMAN SENTENCED TO LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE
June 25, 2020
The Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office along with the 1st Judicial District Attorney's Office would like to announce the conviction of BRIAN SCOTT BERRYMAN, due to a trial that was just convened in Tishomingo County. The Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office would like to refer to the Press Release that was issued by District Attorney John Weddle for more information. A link to that Press Release will be included at the bottom.
The Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Tishomingo County Circuit Clerks office in the preparing of the trial and its location. Also, the sheriff's office would like to thank the Tishomingo County School District and Iuka Middle School Principle, Mr. Jeremy Reece, in providing the court a safe location to conduct the trial. Due to COVID-19 and abiding by the CDC and the State of Mississippi's recommendations for safe distancing, the trial was held in the gym of the Iuka Middle School. We believe this is the first time in the history of our county that school property was used to conduct a criminal trial. This could not be done without the cooperation between the Circuit Clerks Office, the District Attorney's Office, and finally the Tishomingo County School District.
Thank You
Sheriff John Daugherty
