INVESTIGATION LEADS TO FATHER AND SON'S ARREST

On October 13, 2020, Tishomingo County Sheriff deputies and Narcotic Investigators went to a residence on CR 149 in the Tishomingo area, due to reports of illegal drug activity from the residence. When deputies and investigators arrived at the location, several people were found inside the residence along with drug paraphernalia used to sell, smoke, inject, and package narcotics throughout the home.
Law enforcement also discovered a large amount of alleged METHAMPHETAMINE and other drugs with several firearms in close proximity to some of the drugs. The owner of the residence was arrested as well as the homeowner's son. Both individuals along with others were transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
RAYMOND KENT PUCKETT, 61-year-old, white male of 51 CR 149 Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) W/INTENT TO SELL and POSSESSION OF FIREARM IN COMMISSION OF A FELONY. RAYMOND PUCKETT'S bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court in the amount of $20,000.
ZACHARY SHEA PUCKETT, 34-year-old, white male of 22 CR 150 Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with POSSESSION OF A WEAPON BY CONVICTED FELON. ZACHARY PUCKETT'S bond was set by the Tishomingo County Justice Court in the amount of $5,000. PUCKETT also has a hold on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN) assisted the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Office in this investigation, as such more charges may come forward as this investigation continues.
