SERVING OF WARRANT LEADS TO MORE CHARGES

On October 10, 2016, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department deputies went to serve a CAPIAS WARRANT on a KOREY SCOTT FREDERICK. Sheriff’s officials went to FREDRICK’s last known address and was able to find and arrest FREDERICK at the residence. During the course of the arrest, deputies took into possession a .12-gauge shotgun that FREDERICK had in his lap. Also some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in his possession at the time of his arrest. FREDERICK was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
KOREY SCOTT FREDERICK, 36-year-old, white male, of 28 CR 150 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) ENHANCED/FIREARM and also POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON, as well as the outstanding CAPIAS WARRANT out of Tishomingo County. FREDERICK remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set on his new FELONY charges.
