DISTURBANCE CALL LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

On December 8, 2016, Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies responded to a disturbance call on CR 982 in the Iuka area. When the deputies arrived on scene they were met by one of the female that lives at the residence and was involved in the disturbance. The deputies also learned that another individual that was involved, had left the residence. While there at the residence, the deputies could smell a strong odor of MARIJUANA coming from inside the residence. After making sure the female was fine, the deputies asked that person for Consent to Search. The female gave the deputies the Consent and the deputies were able to confiscate approximately four (4) ounces of alleged MARIJUANA. The female was then arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail. Later the deputies went back to the same residence and located the other individual that had originally ran off. That person, a white male, was also arrested and transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

SHERRY ANN GAMMILL, 50-year-old, white female, of 456 CR 989 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (MARIJUANA). GAMMILL is currently in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set.

DUNDEE GENE ERWIN, 49-year-old, white male, also of 456 CR 989 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (MARIJUANA). ERWIN is currently in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set as well.
