BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED

On December 14, 2016 Tishomingo Sheriff’s deputies arrested a male subject in reference to 3 separate house burglaries. All 3 of these burglaries occurred in the area south of Tishomingo County around CR 864. The alleged Suspect was apprehended at one of the residences as he was attempting to return the items that he had taken earlier. During the course of his arrest, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in his vehicle along with other items that were stolen. The suspect was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail. Investigators then determined that one of the residences that was burglarized was actually in Itawamba County. Tishomingo Sheriff Investigators then contacted Itawamba Investigators to inform them of the burglary.

KERRY TODD MARTIN, 47-year-old, white male, 752 Hwy 25 South Dennis, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) & 2 COUNTS of BURGLARY OF A DWELLING. MARTIN remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set and also has a “hold” for the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Department.
