TISHOMINGO MAN ARRESTED FOR STATUTORY RAPE

The Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department officially arrested AUSTIN BOWMAN PRYCE-JONES for the charge of STATUTORY RAPE. Tishomingo Sheriff officials have been working a case with a 14-year-old Victim that was allegedly RAPED by PRYCE-JONES. JONES was questioned earlier in the year about the allegation and once lab results were concluded by the Mississippi Crime Laboratory, investigators issued an ARREST WARRANT for PRYCE-JONES’ arrest.

AUSTIN BOWMAN PRYCE-JONES, 18-year-old white male, of 1580 HWY 25 North Tishomingo, Mississippi was officially charged with STATUTORY RAPE. PRYCE-JONES bond was set by Justice Court at $35,000.00 Professional Bond only. Sheriff Daugherty states that this case will be presented to the next available Grand Jury and also reiterated his department’s stance on these types of crimes: “This office will not allow this type of crime to continue happening. We will be proactive in bringing these types of offenders to justice” – Sheriff Daugherty.
