ONE ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION AND INTRODUCING NARCOTICS IN A JAIL

On February 1, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 373 for obstructing the roadway. While the deputies were speaking to the driver and the four occupants, deputies noticed that all the occupants were acting nervous. The driver of the vehicle gave the deputies a false name and was placed under arrest. The passenger had an OUTSTANDING WARRANT from a neighboring county and was also placed under arrest. Both the driver and the passenger was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail. Once at the jail, the passenger was attempting to smuggle into the jail, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE and SUBOXONE strips.
WILMA HUGGINS ROBERTSON, 50-year-old, white female, of 47 CR 447 Rienzi, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) and 2 counts of INTRODUCTION OF NARCOTICS TO A COUNTY JAIL. ROBERTSON is currently in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting her bond to be set.
