CORINTH MAN ARRESTED WITH METH

 

February 10, 2017

On February 8, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies stopped a vehicle for Reckless Driving on HWY 72 West of Burnsville.  During the course of the traffic stop, deputies found that the driver of the vehicle had suspended driver’s license.  While the deputies were placing him under arrest, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found on his person and also in his vehicle.  A pistol was also found on the driver as well.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

 

MARK ANTHONY MATHIS, 42-year-old, white male, of 5620 CR 200 Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) – ENHANCED w/ FIREARM.  MATHIS is currently still in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
