WARRANT FOR CORINTH MAN LEADS TO ADDITIONAL CHARGES

On February 14, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 72. The driver of the vehicle had an OUTSTANDING WARRANT for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. While the driver was being placed under arrest for the WARRANT, some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE was found in the vehicle that was being driven by the Suspect, and some alleged MARIJUANA was found as well. The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
BOBBY LEE RUSSELL, 38-year-old, white male, of 1209 W. Clover Lane Corinth, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE), POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (MARIJUANA), DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (WARRANT), and DRIVING ON SUSPENDED LICENSE. RUSSELL remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
