ALABAMA MAN ARRESTED ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES

On February 18, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 172 for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle stepped out and met the deputy to discuss the stop.  The deputy checked the driver for anything illegal, to which the deputy did find some SUBUTEX in the pocket of the driver.  The driver was then detained and after giving the deputy Consent to Search the vehicle, the deputy was able to recover some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE from the vehicle.  The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.

CASEY CHRISTOPHER, 33-year-old, white male of 13115 Mount Hester Road Cherokee, Alabama was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE).  CHRISTOPHER remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set.
