IUKA MAN ARRESTED FOR METH

On February 23, 2017, Tishomingo Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on OE Barrett Drive in Iuka for improper equipment. As the deputy was speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the deputy noticed the driver attempting to hide some type of bag. The deputy was later able to retrieve the bag which contained some alleged METHAMPHETAMINE. The driver was then transported to the Tishomingo County Jail.
MATTHEW COOK, 29-year-old, white male, CR 440 Iuka, Mississippi was officially charged with FELONY POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE). COOK remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond to be set by Justice Court.
